Centre Pointe Performing Arts is a two-location studio based in Albion Park Rail and Oak Flats, offering high-quality dance education in a warm, family-focused environment. Our technical training is built on a strong foundation of Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) classical ballet as the core of our technique pathway, supported by Tapatak Oz as our signature tap training program developing rhythm, clarity, and musicality. We are proud to provide Ready, Set, Dance Preschool curriculum that balances nurturing class culture with internationally recognised, syllabus-based development to support long-term progression from preschool to pre-professional levels. CPPA is led by passionate educators dedicated to technique, artistry and joy. We offer pathways from preschool to advanced teens across Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Acrobatics and Aerial. Our faculty blends industry experience with a warm, family-first culture.

Our Story
Honouring our history. Embracing the future of dance.
Debby’s Dance Co was established in 1984 by Debby MacIver, providing quality dance training for students across the Illawarra region.
In 2015, Penny Davies proudly continued Debby’s legacy, maintaining the same family-focused culture while expanding opportunities for students and introducing new programs.
All That Jazz Dance Co first opened in 1996 and has flourished within the Illawarra community ever since. Guided by the experience of Nicole Covington, Julie Webb and Kristy Horneman, the studio continued to grow and, in 2024, moved into its purpose-built Oak Flats location.
In 2025, Penny Davies and Chantelle Duncan combined their experience, values, and shared vision to unite both studios under a new name: Centre Pointe Performing Arts (CPPA). Together, Penny and Chantelle bring over 30 years of combined teaching and industry experience, continuing the proud legacy of both studios across the Albion Park Rail and Oak Flats communities.

Penelope Davies
Studio Director
Bringing a wealth of experience to the studio, Penny Davies is a versatile and dedicated dance educator with a background in Early Childhood Education and extensive experience across multiple dance genres. Known for her excellence in Tap and her ability to connect with students of all ages, Penny has led countless dancers through successful performances, eisteddfods, and examinations. Her nurturing teaching style, combined with her focus on strong foundations and artistry, has made her a trusted and much-loved figure in the local dance community.

With over a 17 years of experience in dance education, Chantelle Duncan is a highly respected teacher, choreographer, and mentor known for her passion, professionalism, and commitment to student growth. She holds formal qualifications through the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD), along with certifications in Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) and Australian Dance Adjudicators. Chantelle has prepared and mentored hundreds of students through RAD examinations and performances, while fostering a studio culture built on confidence, inclusivity, and joy in learning. Her vision for Centre Pointe Performing Arts reflects her belief that every dancer from preschool to advanced performer deserves the opportunity to thrive in a safe, supportive, and inspiring environment.

At Centre Pointe Performing Arts, we are proud to have a team of highly qualified, passionate, and caring teachers who bring over 30 years of combined experience to our studio. Our educators are dedicated to creating a supportive and inspiring learning environment where every student feels encouraged to reach their full potential.
Our teachers hold internationally recognised qualifications, including Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) teaching certification, Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) accreditation, and Tapatak Oz teacher training. In addition, several of our instructors hold a Certificate IV in Dance Teaching and Management, ensuring professional excellence and strong educational foundations in every class we deliver.
